The UCP Summer Program provides a meaningful summer experience for children and young adults with disabilities between three and twenty-one years of age (while still enrolled in high school).

Held annually from June 1 st through July 31 st weekday afternoons from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, the program is under the supervision of highly qualified staff who are committed to serving children with disabilities.

And thanks to funding from the Arizona Community Foundation Summer Program Grant, UCP is pleased to offer a safe, fun environment for our youth; an environment where friendships are built, positive experiences are created and the imagination is inspired through activities and learning opportunities. We are also proud of the many talented instructors who provide a variety of classes for our children that include, dance, Tai Chi, Zumba and music.

At the UCP Summer Program children can explore their community by participating in a variety of social activities and trips throughout Maricopa County including, Butterfly Wonderland, Challenger Space Center, Jump Street, Build a Bear, Sea Life Aquarium, Water Parks, Jambo Park, the Musical Instrument Museum and so much more.

Door to door transportation is provided from the child’s home to the program for those who reside within the UCP Transportation boundaries, although it is important to note that Transportation is not offered for children who are participating in the Extended Respite Program.
