Empowering Inclusion Through Sports

Sasha Graham: Amplifying Voices in Adaptive Athletics

Sasha Graham’s passion for sports and storytelling has led her to advocate for athletes of all abilities. As the host of Sports Will Save Us All, an award-winning podcast with a global reach, Sasha shares inspiring, thought-provoking stories highlighting the transformative power of sports. Her journey into the world of adaptive athletics began with a powerful interview featuring Richie Bennett, a two-time competitor at the Cerebral Palsy World Championships. That conversation ignited a deep commitment to elevating the stories of athletes with disabilities—a mission she carries forward with every episode. Her signature mantra, “Sports are for every body, and for every brain,” reflects her dedication to inclusivity in sports.

Graham’s Commitment as a Community Ambassador

As a Community Ambassador for UCP of Central Arizona, Sasha leverages her platform, storytelling expertise, and advocacy efforts to promote opportunities for individuals with disabilities. She is committed to raising awareness and ensuring that adaptive sports receive the recognition they deserve. Recognizing the power of influential community voices, UCP of Central Arizona established the Community Ambassador program to amplify their impact and drive meaningful change.

Beyond her work with UCP, Sasha has a rich history of leadership and community involvement. A former Vice President at Walt Disney Studios, she is also the author of two children’s books, Milo Does Not Like Mornings, y Whitney Wins Everything. Additionally, she has dedicated years to supporting North Scottsdale’s Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship, a ranch that provides equine-assisted learning for individuals with physical disabilities.

Sasha’s mission is clear: to make the world of sports more inclusive, accessible, and fun for everyone.
