Some of our key successes are a new accessible basketball court, life skill development, self-directed goals, the addition of an accessible greenhouse and planters, an adaptive exercising circuit, and an outdoor event center.

These successes underscore our unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive, person-centered services that respect the individuality of each person with disabilities.

We believe in the power of Choice

Our Success Driven Programs

Our adult day programs are the premier choice in North Phoenix, offering diverse activities that ensure each individual can explore their interests and discover new passions. This variety of choices allows voices to be heard and empowers individuality, fostering a sense of purpose and belonging for every individual in our care.

Wellness and Nutrition

We prioritize a holistic approach to health and well-being. Our comprehensive wellness and nutrition program is designed to support the physical, mental, and emotional health of our participants. By integrating physical activity with nutritional coaching, we aim to empower individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Accessible Sports and Fitness

We understand the importance of physical activity for overall health and well-being. That’s why we’ve invested in state-of-the-art facilities and programs designed to be inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of their physical abilities. Our recent additions  addition of an outdoor fitness circuit, accessible basketball court, walking path and putting green, the program provides many options for the individual’s fitness programing.

 Culinary Life Skills

Our culinary life skills program teaches essential cooking skills for independent living and career opportunities. Activities: Menu planning, shopping, and meal preparation for peers and staff every Friday.

Curriculum Focus: Safety and Sanitation, Healthy Food Choices & Nutrition, Kitchen Discovery, Customer Service, Hands-on Training.

 Horticulture Therapy

Horticulture therapy uses plant-based activities to promote mental and physical well-being. It helps improve memory, cognitive abilities, language skills, and socialization. Participants engage in garden design, planting, and care, collaborating with our Health and Culinary programs to grow nutritional plants. In addition to the greenhouse there are outdoor raised garden beds designed for easy access for those in wheelchairs to engage in horticultural activities.

 Community Engagement

We meet monthly to select activities based on members’ interests, including physical activities, shopping, exploring local history, and volunteering. These activities foster a sense of community and belonging, providing opportunities for socialization and personal growth. Members build meaningful connections and gain valuable life skills through their active participation.

 Empowered Living & Advocacy

Members make choices, speak up, make decisions, understand their interests, find support, know their rights, solve problems, and learn self-determination skills. This empowers them to take control of their lives and boosts their confidence. Through these experiences, they build resilience and a sense of independence, preparing them for a more self-sufficient future.
