Carl Herrgesell’s Inspirational Journey

At the age of 12, Carl Herrgesell’s passion for music was ignited by the electrifying performance with Billy Joel. This pivotal moment set the course for his future endeavors. Fast forward to 1994, and Carl graduates from Arizona State University, with a degree in jazz piano, ready to conquer the world of music.

Setting his sights on Nashville, the heartland of the music industry, Carl set out on a journey that would see him collaborating with some of the biggest names in the music business. From Elton John to LeAnn Rimes and Michael McDonald, Carl’s musical talents allowed him to collaborate with world-renowned artists, adding his unique flair to their creations.

Not satisfied with mostly doing studio work, Carl took to the road with Kenny Loggins, thrilling audiences with his signature keyboard sound night after night.

However, Carl’s journey extends beyond his musical accomplishments. His sister Amy, who faces the challenges of mental handicaps and epilepsy, inspired Carl to become not only a caregiver but also an advocate for individuals with disabilities.

Drawing from his personal experiences and deep empathy, Carl channels his energy into raising awareness within the community, championing the rights and needs of those often marginalized.

Through his roles as both a musician and a caregiver, Carl exemplifies the power of compassion and the transformative impact of music in fostering understanding and inclusion.
