What does it take?

In order to become a DCW’s (Direct Care Workers) you must be 18 years or older, and can pass a drug screening and back ground check. UCP of Central Arizona will then take over and make sure you have the appropriate training and understanding of your role as a care provider.

Who will I care for?

Once you are hired and properly trained, we can then begin the search of pairing you with the person whom you will care for. We focus on making sure that you find a family to work with that is the right fit for you. It’s important to us that you enjoy the work you are doing daily.

Can I care for a loved one?

Alot of people don't know this but you can be the care provider of a family member with disabilities. You can care for your brother, your niece, your grandson. As a parent of a child with a disability you cannot be the care provider if they are under 18 years old.
